The Manipur High Court has ordered the state government to partially lift the state’s internet ban on providing services through the Internet Lease Line, subject to restrictions to be decided by a panel of experts.

He ordered the Home Department to lift its ban on providing Internet services via Internet Lease Lines (ILL) after making sure that interested parties complied with a series of safeguards recommended by a panel of experts.
