After seeing the official hands-on of the upcoming Phone (2) from Nothing through the MKBHD video, a new leak reveals everything to expect from the company’s next flagship, which will debut for the first time in the United States
A couple of leaks that hint at what we’re likely to see with the phone (2), the powerful successor to the phone (1) that came out last year. The first comes from whistleblower Kamila via her Twitter account (via 9to5Google), where she revealed some of the critical parameters of the Nothing Phone (2).

According to Kamila, the device is expected to ship with Nothing OS 2.0, and the camera specs imply a 50MP Sony IMX890 primary camera, the same sensor featured in the recent OnePlus 11. The secondary ultra-wide-angle camera will also be another 50MP Samsung JN1 . , seen from the Telephone (1). A 32MP selfie shooter and Sony IMX615 sensor will be up front.
Based on previous confirmations from Nothing, we already know that the device will feature a 6.7-inch display. Kamila’s additional details reveal that it is made by Visionox and comes with a 1080×2412 resolution and an AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is also claimed to support 1Hz, 10Hz, 24Hz and 30Hz low power modes. The fingerprint sensor is notably optical under the screen.

Another leak comes from tipster Suman Chakrabortiin which he released some hands-on shots of the alleged phone (2), which not only shows us the design as seen in the MKBHD video, but also shows the “About Phone” page which further details the specifications of the device.
The pic confirms Kamila’s details regarding the filming department. It further confirms the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, also secured by Nothing previously. The phone in the picture appears to be a 12GB RAM variant with 512GB of storage. It also features Nothing OS 2.0.0, based on Android 13. However, the company has already promised to provide three years of updates to the phone (2). Lastly, the device will ship with a 4700mAh battery.

Reliable whistleblower Yogesh Brar has also leaked alleged specifications of the phone (2), which match the above details. Furthermore, Brar’s leak points to a 4700mAh battery with support for 33W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. Also, Brar’s suggested price points to around Rs 42,000 for the Indian market, which translates to ~ $503. That could put the phone (2) right next to the Pixel 7a, which launches at $499 in the US
With launch just a couple of days away (launching July 11), the recent hands-on video aided by leaked press renders and the new details above leave ‘nothing’ to figure out from the Nothing Phone launch (2) .
